Morning Circle Board

Morning Circle: Every morning the children come in and we start our day by sitting on the rug together. Children are assigned jobs for the day: Flag, Calendar, Weather, Line leader, Lights.

Flag: We begin the day by paying respect to our country and saying the pledge of allegiance. Our Flag helper holds the flag and shows everyone where to place their hand over their heart.

Calendar: Our calendar helper helps us with the month and date. The calendar helper also helps us determine what day of the week it is and what tomorrow will be. We have a special song to help us all remember the order of the days of the week.

          Saturday!

Weather: This is every one's favorite! The weather helper first tells us what season we are in, then looks outside the window and tells us what the weather is; sunny, snowy, cloudy , rainy or windy. The weather helper  will put up the weather for the day on the board and predict what tomorrows weather will be.

Line Leader: Leads the class to arts & crafts, outside play and lunch.

Lights: In charge of shutting the classroom lights and door on our way out of the room.
